Settled in the heart of Mayfair, the three Michelin starred reopened its doors after a full and extensive, two-month refurbishment and modernisation in 2019. The acclaimed chef’s creative vision has been realised in a bold reimagining of the dining room, kitchen and menu, with a stunning new Chef’s Table, show kitchen and dedicated Armagnac Room.

In our three Michelin-star restaurant, each dish is grounded in seasonal produce sourced from the farmers, makers and growers carefully chosen by Hélène. And every menu is a reflection of your personal tastes, as our chefs transform your selected ingredients into original works of culinary art.
Pierre Yovanovitch’s cocooning interior sets the perfect tone for this intimate dining experience. Blush shades, curved lines, and deep velvet and leather seating reflect the restaurant’s warm, approachable ethos. A blue blown-glass chandelier and exposed wooden tabletops add a bold, contemporary edge. Almost every element is custom-made, once again placing craftsmanship in the limelight.

Overlooking the pass, guests are seated at a pink marble table set on a Terrazzo dais, with stunning ceiling art designed by Rochegaussen and bespoke lamps created by Matteo Gonet for Pierre Yovanovitch.
From here, chefs showcase their culinary talents, answer questions and personally present the three Michelin Star dishes.

Embark on a journey into the history behind a unique collection. The Sommelier’s Table is the ultimate exploration of The Connaught wines. Led by your private sommelier and accompanied by perfectly matched, Michelin-starred dishes from Hélène Darroze, this is a truly bespoke dining experience.
Over lunch or dinner, you’ll travel from the iconic to the undiscovered – from the world’s leading wine regions to artisan, family-owned vineyards. Each glass showcases the carefully selected stories of The Connaught’s Wine Programme, and the philosophy of its Director of Wine, Daniel Manetti. Inspired by years of tastings and discoveries, and built through close relationships with the producers themselves, the Wine Programme is at the heart of the Sommelier’s Table.
It all unfolds in our atmospheric limestone wine cellar, at the foundations of The Connaught. A fascinating discovery in itself, this special space contains 3,000 bins with around 30,000 bottles of wine. They include several private, ex-cellar collections from exceptional producers, exclusive to The Connaught.

A close relationship with wine producers has always been at the heart of The Connaught Hotel Wine Program – down to the cellar holding legendary vintages and exclusive collections from around the globe. In celebration of this, our Wine Dinners are an elegant showcase for the world’s most prestigious wines, inviting guests on a gastronomic exploration.
Each unique Wine Dinner is hosted in either a private dining room or in the restaurant, setting an inspiring scene. Guests are personally welcomed by The Connaught’s Director of Wine, Daniel Manetti, who will introduce the winemaker or a Master of Wine leading the guided tasting. Meanwhile, a bespoke menu is created by Hélène Darroze and her team to perfectly match the wines being presented.
From the aperitif to a fine cheese course, each dish has been carefully balanced – and each glass chosen to complement the food. As you dine, you will be told the story behind each bottle: its origins, tasting notes and techniques.

Our service starts with your enquiry and is completely personalised at every stage of the planning – right down to the choice of flowers and placecards. We’ll give you a tour of The Connaught’s private rooms, so that you can choose the perfect space for your occasion. You can even take our restaurant exclusively, for up to 60 private guests (please note that we can accomodate up to 120 guests in the Mayfair room). Whatever you choose, you can be sure that we will craft you a truly memorable experience.
